What is MedEspera?
MedEspera is an international scientific congress held biennially under the auspices of the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Over the years, MedEspera has become a cornerstone of the student scientific community, bringing together young researchers from around the world and providing a platform to share new discoveries and innovations in the medical field.
The congress aims to foster collaboration, learning, and advancement in medicine, bringing together students, young doctors, and researchers from diverse backgrounds. MedEspera provides a space for sharing knowledge, presenting groundbreaking research, and discussing the future of healthcare and medical science. Our History
The first edition of MedEspera took place in 2006, organized by enthusiastic volunteers, initially as a local forum for students and doctors in the Republic of Moldova. As the years passed, the number of participants and abstracts presented grew significantly.
With each edition, the organizing team continues to create an academic environment that is both diverse and international, making significant contributions to the field of medical research.
Our Town and Venues
MedEspera takes place in Chișinău, Moldova's bustling capital. Known for its blend of history, culture, and modernity, Chișinău is home to numerous landmarks like Stefan Cel Mare Park, Triumphal Arch, and National Museum of History. Visitors can also enjoy Valea Morilor Park and Dendrarium Park for relaxing nature walks.
The main venues for the congress are the Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy and its nearby buildings.
Public transport and taxis are convenient ways to get to the venues, with most located near major bus lines and central areas of the city.
